Project and Task Management

Access Projects Section

Navigate to "Projects" from the main menu. You'll see a dashboard showing all active and completed projects with their status, deadlines, and team members.

  • Use project views: Grid, List, or Kanban board
  • Filter by status, client, or team member

Create a New Project

Click "New Project" or "+ Create". Enter project details: Project name, Description, Start date, Deadline, Budget (optional). Select the client this project is for. Add project tags or categories for organization.

  • Document project scope clearly

Invite Team Members

In the project settings, add team members who will work on this project. Assign roles: Project Manager, Developer, Designer, etc. Set permissions (view only, edit, admin). Send invitation notifications to the team.

Create Project Tasks

Within the project, click "Add Task" to create task items. For each task, specify: Task title, Detailed description, Assignee (team member responsible), Due date, Priority level (low, medium, high, urgent), Estimated hours. Break large tasks into smaller subtasks.

Organize Tasks with Status

Move tasks through workflow stages: To Do, In Progress, In Review, Completed. Use drag-and-drop on the Kanban board for easy status updates. Set up custom statuses that match your workflow.

Attach Files and Documents

Add relevant files to projects and tasks: Design mockups, Documents, Contracts, Images. Files are automatically linked and accessible to team members. Version control tracks file updates.

Track Time on Tasks

Use the built-in time tracker to log hours worked on each task. Start the timer when beginning work, stop when taking breaks or finishing. Time entries can be converted directly to invoices for billable projects.

Monitor Project Progress
